Sanaa:The Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) is conducting the Labor Force Survey 2026, aiming to gather data from a random sample of more than 4,000 households across all governorates in Bahrain. This survey will take place from October to December 2026.
According to Information & eGovernment Authority, the survey is designed to offer precise statistical data on labor force characteristics, economic activity, and labor market changes. This information will support the development of evidence-based plans and policies.
Mrs. Duaa Sultan Mohamed, Deputy Chief Executive for Statistics and Population Registry at iGA, explained that the survey involves field interviews and telephone calls, adhering to methodologies accredited by the International Labor Organization (ILO). Selected households will be contacted via the number (17878070) to arrange field visits.
Field researchers will present identification cards during their visits, and their identities can be verified through the iGA's website (iga.gov.bh). Mrs. Duaa emphasized the importance of privacy, ensuring that collected information is used only for statistical purposes, and urged households to participate in the interviews.
For additional information about the survey, the public can reach iGA at (17878070) from Sunday to Thursday, between 800 am and 700 pm.
