Kuwaiti Information and Culture Minister Attends Muharraq Nights Festival

Muharraq: Abdulrahman Badah Al Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs of the State of Kuwait, visited the Muharraq Nights Festival. Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, and Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, were present during the visit.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Al Mutairi noted that the festival, held along the Pearling Path inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is part of national cultural projects to showcase and preserve Bahrain's authentic heritage. The festival aims to highlight Muharraq's rich historical legacy and strengthen the Kingdom's standing as a leading cultural and tourism destination through its historical and cultural assets.

Minister Al Mutairi visited the festival's key events and programmes, commenting on how the cultural and artistic performances highlight the distinctive character of Muharraq and reflect the richness and depth of Bahrain's cultural identity. He commended the festival's organisation and noted Bahrain's contemporary approach to preserving and presenting its cultural heritage, emphasizing that the event reflects the closeness of shared Gulf cultural values.
