Director-General of Arab League’s Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) Dr. Saud Al-Harbi has praised the Amir of Kuwait HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for contributing to maintaining region’s stability.

Speaking on sidelines of the first media conference on promoting achievements and programmes of the Arab joint work institutions, Al-Harbi thanked the Amir for supporting just causes, and sponsoring many conferences to discuss issues that concern Arabs, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

Al-Harbi pointed out that ALECSO aims to enhance level of education, culture and science in different societies, pointing out that for any society to advance it should improve education system.

He added that the organization was the backbone of the development of education and culture in societies.
