Manama:Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, welcomed Jassim Ibrahim Al Najem, the newly appointed Ambassador of Kuwait to Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Speaker expressed his best wishes to Al Najem for success in his diplomatic mission aimed at enhancing the relations between Bahrain and Kuwait.
Al Musallam underscored the historical ties between the two nations, fostered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait. He also praised the efforts of key leaders, including His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as Kuwait’s Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Subah Khalid Al Ahmad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, and Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah.
The Speaker reiterated the commitment to furthering cooperation and coordination for the mutual benefit of both countries and their citizens.
