Kuwaiti Air Defences Intercept Hostile Drones in Northern Airspace

Kuwait city: The official spokesperson of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence, Colonel Staff Saud Al Atwan, confirmed that the Kuwaiti air defences intercepted at dawn several hostile drones that had breached the airspace in the northern part of the country, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

According to Bahrain News Agency, the interception operation was carried out successfully by the Kuwaiti air defence systems, ensuring the protection of the nation's airspace. The Ministry of Defence is currently investigating the origin and intent of the drones. The incident has raised concerns about airspace security and the potential threats posed by unidentified aerial vehicles. The Kuwaiti authorities have heightened surveillance and are coordinating with regional partners to address the situation effectively.
