Kuwait city: Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced that one of the operational units at Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery was targeted this morning by a drone, resulting in a limited fire within the unit but causing no injuries. The unit is operated by the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).
According to Bahrain News Agency, a KPC statement reported that emergency and rapid response teams were immediately deployed to the site, where the fire was contained in accordance with the highest approved safety standards.
The Corporation stated that all necessary precautionary measures were taken to ensure the safety of personnel and secure the facility, KUNA reported. KPC noted that the relevant authorities are closely monitoring the situation and that any updates will be communicated through official channels.
