Kuwait Condemns Iranian Attacks Targeting Jordan

Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait has expressed Kuwait's strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian attacks that targeted the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with several missiles.

According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs described these attacks as a flagrant violation of Jordan's sovereignty and a blatant breach of the principles of international law, the UN Charter, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817. The ministry emphasized the need to halt these attacks, prioritise de-escalation and dialogue, and adhere to international law to preserve the region's security and stability and prevent further tension and escalation.

Additionally, the ministry affirmed Kuwait's full solidarity with Jordan and its support for all measures Jordan takes to safeguard its sovereignty and maintain its security and stability.
