Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait has voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of recent Houthi militia attacks that have targeted civilian and economic sites in multiple cities across Saudi Arabia. These attacks have resulted in injuries to dozens of civilians, including women and children.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement emphasizing that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty. The ministry highlighted the direct threat posed to the safety of both citizens and residents, describing the assaults as a breach of international and international humanitarian law. The statement further warned of a dangerous and unjustified escalation that could jeopardize regional security and stability.
The ministry also expressed its condemnation of the ongoing targeting of commercial vessels in the Red Sea by the Houthi militia. It stated that such actions pose a significant threat to maritime navigation, global energy supplies, and international trade.
Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the nation's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and expressed support for all measures undertaken by the Kingdom to protect its sovereignty, security, stability, and interests, as well as the safety of its people and residents.
The statement concluded by stressing that the security of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
