San Salvador: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented two volunteer projects in pediatric urology and orthopedics and women's cancer surgery in San Salvador, the capital of the Republic of El Salvador.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the two projects ran from January 18-25 with the participation of 12 volunteers from various medical specialties. KSrelief's volunteer medical team performed 47 specialised surgeries in pediatric urology and orthopedics and 25 surgeries for women's cancers, all of which were successful.
The initiatives are part of the ongoing volunteer medical projects provided by Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to assist patients in needy countries and communities worldwide.
