Korean Parliamentary Delegation Engages in Official Visit to Bahrain

Manama: A parliamentary delegation from the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea has arrived in Bahrain for an official visit scheduled from January 20-22. The visit aims to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the delegation is set to meet with Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives. The discussions will focus on parliamentary cooperation and fostering mutual understanding between Bahrain and Korea.

The itinerary also includes joint parliamentary meetings with the Bahrain-Korea Parliamentary Friendship Committee. These meetings will be chaired by Ahmed Abdulwahed Qarata, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives. Members of the friendship committee and MPs who chair the council's standing committees will participate in discussions to explore partnership tracks and support trade relations and economic projects.

The visit seeks to strengthen the partnership between the two nations and enhance collaboration on areas of mutual interest.
