Manama:His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the credentials of five newly appointed ambassadors to the Kingdom of Bahrain during a ceremony held today.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ambassadors presented their credentials were Choi Byoung-sun from the Republic of Korea, Dr. Javidan Rizvan Huseynov from the Republic of Azerbaijan, Abdelmadjid Amini from the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Jasem Ibrahem Al Najem from the State of Kuwait, and Dr. Necati Sancaktutan from the Republic of T¼rkiye.
His Majesty welcomed the new ambassadors, praising the distinguished relations between Bahrain and both Arab and international countries. He noted the ongoing growth of these relations at various levels and wished the ambassadors success in their missions to further strengthen cooperation and friendship with Bahrain.
The ambassadors conveyed greetings and appreciation from their leaders to His Majesty, wishing him continued health and happiness, as well as prosperity for Bahrain and its people. They expressed appreciation for the strong relations with Bahrain and affirmed their commitment to further develop these ties during their tenure. The Korean ambassador highlighted the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bahrain and Korea.
The ceremony was attended by His Highness the Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, His Highness the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, the National Security Adviser, the Minister of the Royal Court, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Chief of Royal Protocol. Prior to the ceremony, the ambassadors were received by the Chief of Royal Protocol, where customary ceremonies were held.
