Manama:His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met with Éric Giraud-Telme, Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to discuss cooperation and joint initiatives between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing and enhancing the longstanding ties between Bahrain and France. His Majesty praised the ambassador's efforts in fortifying these relations and acknowledged the contributions of French President Emmanuel Macron in fostering bilateral cooperation.
King Hamad also highlighted France's support for Bahrain in the aftermath of the Iranian attacks and its role in promoting regional and international peace and stability under President Macron's leadership. As a recognition of Ambassador Giraud-Telme's dedication to strengthening the relationship between the two countries, the King awarded him the Order of Bahrain (First Class).
Ambassador Giraud-Telme expressed his gratitude to King Hamad for the honor and commended the King's commitment to supporting France-Bahrain relations.
