Manama:His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, welcomed Lieutenant General Zac Stenning, Commander of the British Land Forces.
According to Bahrain News Agency, King Hamad emphasized the Kingdom of Bahrain's pride in its enduring and strong relations with the United Kingdom. This partnership is rooted in years of alliance, cooperation, and joint coordination, especially through the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA). The agreement contributes to achieving mutual goals, and King Hamad reaffirmed Bahrain's commitment to further developing these relations in various fields to support the shared interests of both countries and their citizens.
King Hamad praised the United Kingdom's significant role on the international stage and its efforts to bolster regional and global security, stability, and peace.
Lieutenant General Zac Stenning conveyed his appreciation for King Hamad's efforts to fortify the longstanding partnership between Bahrain and the UK, as well as to enhance military and defense cooperation between the two nations.
