King and Crown Prince of Bahrain Extend Condolences to Regional Leaders

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today highlighted key diplomatic engagements and expressions of sympathy from the Kingdom's leadership over the past 24 hours. HM King extended condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Amir of Kuwait. Similarly, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed condolences to the same leaders, underscoring the strong ties between Bahrain and its neighboring countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa participated in international discussions by attending the 'New Approaches to Measuring Growth Beyond GDP' session at Davos. During his visit, he held meetings with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the Lord Mayor of the City of London. Additionally, his visit included a stop at the UAE Pavilion at the World Economic Forum.

The Commander-in-Chief welcomed the Royal Navy Fleet Commander, emphasizing ongoing military collaborations. Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke on the importance of art in maintaining Bahrain's cultural heritage. In other news, Bahrain expressed condolences to Trkiye following a tragic hotel fire, and the Foreign Minister engaged in a telephone call with his French counterpart.

The Housing Minister met with the UAE ambassador, and the Youth Minister engaged with representatives from social and youth associations. The Transportation Ministry announced the completion of smart taxi meter installations, while the Labour Ministry and GOSI issued a joint statement addressing violations in the Khatwa programme.

Furthermore, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak received Ali Abdullah Khalifa, and the Shura Council Chairman welcomed the GIC Director. BAC tested its business continuity plans with comprehensive exercises. Shaikh Khalid bin Salman Al Khalifa praised BBK's contributions to the Fallen Servicemen Fund.
