Manama: As part of Bahrain's annual Diplomatic Day forum, a panel discussion was held featuring Dr. Ayman Safadi, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the session was attended by Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, senior diplomats, and ministry officials. Ambassador Dr. Shaikha Muneera Khalifa Alkhalifa, Director General of Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, chaired the session, which highlighted the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Jordan based on mutual respect and cooperation.
Dr. Safadi emphasized the shared commitment of Bahrain and Jordan to strengthening partnerships and expanding collaboration across sectors. He congratulated Bahrain on its recent non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council and praised its balanced approach to foreign policy. Dr. Safadi also underscored Bahrain's support for Jordan and the close relationship between their leaders, which contributes to steady growth in bilateral relations.
