MANAMA: The Ministry of Interior is participating in the Manama Retro event, organized by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, to showcase the history of police work in Bahrain. The event aims to enhance community partnership, foster national belonging, and facilitate effective communication with various segments of society.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministry's participation includes a performance by the Bahrain Police Parade, presented by the Guard of Honour and the Police Band, which played national musical pieces. The Capital Governorate Police Directorate took the opportunity to review the development stages of the police uniform, highlighting the enduring history and effective role of Bahraini police in maintaining security and order over the decades.
The event also features a display of the first traffic light used in Bahrain in 1941, along with old motorcycles used by traffic patrols and traditional cannons. These exhibits serve as a testament to the historical significance of Bahraini security measures.
This participation underscores the ministry's dedication to fostering community engagement and educating new generations about the history and pivotal role of the Bahraini police in ensuring the Kingdom's security and stability.
