Interior Ministry Shooting Team Triumphs at Arab Shooting Championship in Oman

Manama: The Interior Ministry shooting team achieved advanced results at the Arab Championship for air rifle and air pistol shooting, which was held in the Sultanate of Oman with the participation of 141 male and female shooters. The team won a total of 16 medals, comprising seven gold, seven silver, and two bronze.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Brigadier Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayat, Chairman of the Police Sports Federation, expressed pride in the shooting team's results, emphasising that these achievements reflect the continued support provided by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, to raise athletes' standards and enable them to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain in regional and international competitions in the best possible manner. He also highlighted the close follow-up by Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police, of all police sports teams during their participation in various sporting events.
