Interior Minister Attends 38th Orientation Commando Course Graduation Ceremony

Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, attended the graduation ceremony of the 38th Orientation Commando Course. During the ceremony, the minister expressed his appreciation for the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, towards the Ministry of Interior.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah highlighted the significant role of His Majesty the King's directives in driving development and modernisation efforts within the ministry. These efforts are being implemented through advanced standards designed to effectively address emerging security challenges and dynamic circumstances.

The minister also extended his gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister. He acknowledged the Crown Prince's support in advancing the security sector, emphasizing the importance of adopting top-tier training standards and continually modernising training systems.

He pointed out the increasing complexity of security challenges, which necessitate innovative training approaches and robust readiness to safeguard national security. The Commander of the Special Security Forces Command (SSFC) expressed gratitude to the minister for his support in enhancing the capabilities and readiness of the Special Security Forces.

The SSFC Commander noted that these advancements boost morale and equip personnel with state-of-the-art training methodologies. This enables the force to achieve high standards of professionalism and excellence in ensuring security and stability. During the event, graduates performed practical demonstrations, showcasing their skills and readiness to fulfill security responsibilities.

The ceremony concluded with the minister honoring the top graduates for their achievements and wishing them continued success in their future endeavors.
