Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, received Zuhair Tawfiqi, Editor-in-Chief of Al Bilad newspaper. The minister congratulated Tawfiqi on his appointment and wished him success in his new duties, as well as the continued advancement of Al Bilad’s media mission and its role as a national platform serving the Kingdom and society.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Noaimi highlighted the role of the national press in showcasing national achievements, enlightening society, and strengthening public awareness. These efforts align with the objectives of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister commended Al Bilad newspaper for its professional approach and responsible journalistic content, which supports national media and addresses local issues with professionalism. This reflects the role of Bahraini journalism in promoting societal awareness and reinforcing national values. He expressed wishes for Al Bilad’s continued progress and success.
For his part, Tawfiqi affirmed Al Bilad’s pride in its constructive and effective partnership with the Ministry of Information. He highlighted the newspaper’s commitment to continuing its work to enrich the press landscape and support the national media sector.
