Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, met with participants of the 11th intake of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme, highlighting the initiative’s role in developing national talent and strengthening government performance.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Minister underscored that the programme offers advanced training and high-quality practical experiences that help prepare national competencies. He emphasised that empowering national talent and developing their skills remains a cornerstone of the Kingdom’s comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr. Al Noaimi commended the programme for its vision to invest in Bahraini talent and foster a culture of excellence across government, noting its role in enhancing institutional performance and promoting innovation. The Minister added that the programme has delivered tangible results in preparing national talent to keep pace with rapid global developments and effectively use modern knowledge tools, reinforcing continuous improvement in government work and enhancing output quality.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Noaimi reviewed the Ministry of Information’s strategy to advance media work, including administrative and digital transformation initiatives and plans to modernise the organisational and legislative framework of the national media ecosystem. These efforts aim to improve operational efficiency, highlight the Kingdom’s civilisational achievements, and support national priorities.
The participants toured several departments and facilities within the ministry, including the News Centre and radio and television studios, where they were briefed on key roles and responsibilities and the implementation of national media plans. They also visited the National Communication Centre (NCC), where Chief Executive Officer Ahmed Khalid Al Araifi highlighted the centre’s role in managing the government communication ecosystem, coordinating unified messaging, developing strategic communication plans, and employing media monitoring and analysis tools to enhance rapid response to developments locally and internationally.
The Minister wished the participants continued success, encouraging them to work in the spirit of Team Bahrain and strengthen their national contributions and support the Kingdom’s development.
