Cairo: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, participated in the 21st regular session of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information, held in Cairo. The session was chaired by Salman bin Yousef Al Dosari, Minister of Media of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Executive Office, and was attended by Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khattabi, Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Media and Communication Sector at the Arab League.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Noaimi reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to supporting efforts aimed at enhancing joint Arab action in the media field. This commitment is under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Information Minister emphasized the importance of advancing Arab media cooperation in response to rapid developments and current regional and international challenges. He highlighted the need for activating joint Arab media mechanisms, developing the Arab media system, and improving the quality of media content and professional standards.
The Executive Office discussed several topics on the agenda of the upcoming 55th session of the ministerial council, scheduled to be held tomorrow. They also reviewed key media issues in light of the outcomes of the 103rd session of the Permanent Committee for Arab Media.
