Information Minister Discusses Media Cooperation with Kuwaiti Counterpart


Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, the Minister of Information, received Abdulrahman Baddah Al Mutairi, the Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs of the State of Kuwait. Dr. Al Noaimi emphasized the strong and longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait, which are rooted in historical ties and solid foundations of cooperation and integration. He acknowledged the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, in fostering these relations.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in the media and cultural sectors between the two nations. Discussions included exchanging expertise and experiences to advance joint media initiatives, aiming to improve their professional impact and expand their regional and international presence. The meeting also addressed developments in the media landscape, current challenges, and strategies to enhance Gulf media coordination in response to rapid sector transformations.



During the visit, Minister Al Mutairi, accompanied by Dr. Al Noaimi and several ministry officials, toured the Ministry of Information complex. The tour included stops at the National Communication Centre (NCC), the main newsroom studio, and the Radio Bahrain building. Minister Al Mutairi praised the significant development of Bahrain’s media sector and its efforts to enhance joint Gulf media cooperation, emphasizing how these initiatives support shared aspirations and the broader interests of the Gulf Cooperation Council states.
