Information Minister Attends Bahraini Cultural Night at Heritage Village

Ras hayyan: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, participated in a cultural reception organised by the Ministry of Information in honour of the delegations attending the 3rd Asian Youth Games, hosted by the Kingdom until October 31st. The event took place at the Heritage Village in Ras Hayyan.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Noaimi stated that the event exemplifies Bahrain's commitment to using major sporting events as a platform for cultural and civilisational exchange among nations. He emphasized that this initiative aims to strengthen bonds of friendship, coexistence, and tolerance among various cultures worldwide, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The minister noted that sport serves as a crucial bridge for human connection and a medium for promoting values of friendship, peace, and mutual understanding. It also acts as a positive cultural interaction and a catalyst for enhanced communication between people and nations.

Dr. Al Noaimi highlighted that selecting the Heritage Village as the venue for the Bahraini Cultural Night symbolises the Kingdom's deep-rooted national heritage and rich traditions, reflecting the essence of Bahrain and its enduring human narrative. He pointed out that the event showcased authentic aspects of Bahraini culture and the Kingdom's unique cultural and tourism assets, positioning Bahrain as a preferred destination for continental and international events.

The cultural evening featured a range of artistic and heritage performances, as well as displays of traditional crafts that highlighted Bahrain's cultural richness and its unique identity, which seamlessly blends authenticity with modernity.

The Asian delegations expressed their appreciation for the Bahraini Cultural Night and the artistic and heritage performances that showcased the depth of Bahrain's identity and the authenticity of its traditions. They praised the warm hospitality and gracious reception they received, which embodies the values of Bahraini society.

The delegations also observed that the event provided a valuable opportunity to explore Bahrain's rich and longstanding heritage, while fostering a spirit of unity among participants from across the Asian continent.
