Informa Markets General Manager Lauds Private and Public Sectors Cooperation.


Manama: Mohammed Ibrahim, General Manager of Informa Markets, emphasised that the collaboration between Bahrain’s public and private sectors, particularly with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), has significantly boosted the Kingdom’s standing as a destination for hosting major international exhibitions. Speaking to Bahrain News Agency (BNA) during the Jewellery Arabia 2024 exhibition, Ibrahim highlighted Bahrain’s advanced infrastructure and its growing reputation for hosting global events. He pointed to the notable success of the Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB), which this year hosted three high-profile exhibitions simultaneously: Jewellery Arabia, Cityscape, and Scent Arabia.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Ibrahim noted that Informa Markets prioritised enhancing visitor experiences this year, introducing streamlined registration processes, improving access to parking facilities, and launching a comprehensive platform offering all necessary event information. He added that in this 32nd
edition, the company focused on promoting Bahraini exhibitors and their products, which led to a 33% increase in the participation of local gold and perfume retailers.

Ibrahim also highlighted the strong interest from international visitors in exploring the innovative and unique offerings showcased by Bahraini jewellers and traders.
