Istanbul: Eman Ahmed Al Doseri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, led the delegation from Bahrain at the opening session of the 41st session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC), held in Istanbul, the Republic of Trkiye, from November 3 to 4. The session was attended by His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Trkiye and Chairman of COMCEC.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Doseri participated in a panel discussion focused on developing and enhancing export strategies in OIC member states. She emphasized Bahrain's initiatives to broaden its export base and diversify its national products through innovation, industrial advancement, and the integration of digital technologies into the production and trade system.
Al Doseri also highlighted the significant role of Export Bahrain in advancing national exports and accessing new markets for Bahraini products and services. Furthermore, she reiterated the importance of COMCEC and other OIC institutions in promoting intra-OIC trade and supporting economic integration among member states.
