HRH The Deputy King Hosts Ramadan Iftar Banquet for BDF Senior Officers


Manama: The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, hosted a Ramadan iftar banquet for senior officers of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Upon his arrival, His Royal Highness was received by the Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.



According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and His Highness Lieutenant Colonel Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa were also present at the event. His Royal Highness was further welcomed by HE Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, the Minister of Defence Affairs; Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, the BDF Chief of Staff; and other senior BDF officers.



During the gathering, His Royal Highness expressed his pride in the unwavering determination and loyalty of the BDF personnel in fulfilling their national duty, serving the Kingdom, and safeguarding its achievements. He commended their sacrifices and contributions to advancing the Kingdom’s progress. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasized the advanced level of combat readiness achieved by the BDF under the guidance and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.



On the occasion of the holy Month of Ramadan, His Royal Highness exchanged best wishes with the BDF Commander-in-Chief and senior officers, expressing hopes for continued security, progress, and prosperity for the Kingdom and the Arab and Islamic nations. In response, the BDF Commander-in-Chief extended his wishes for ongoing security, stability, and prosperity for the Kingdom and its people under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.



Furthermore, the BDF Commander-in-Chief conveyed gratitude on behalf of the BDF personnel for His Royal Highness’ commitment and unwavering support to the BDF and its personnel.
