Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), along with the members of the Kingdom's Pavilion team at Expo 2025 Osaka. The meeting was convened in light of the Bahrain Pavilion, "Connecting Seas," receiving the prestigious Gold Award from the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) in the 'Self-Built Pavilions' category for Architecture and Landscape.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation for the dedication shown by the Kingdom's Pavilion team at Expo 2025 Osaka. He highlighted that their commitment to excellence is a reflection of the values upheld by Team Bahrain. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasized that such achievements are significant in boosting the Kingdom's international presence and reinforcing its global reputation.
His Royal Highness reiterated the importance of the tireless efforts and determination of Bahraini citizens in achieving milestones that contribute to the Kingdom's comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He highlighted Bahrain's commitment to providing innovative solutions to global challenges and inspiring future generations to carry forward the Kingdom's progress.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister praised Bahrain's accomplishments in architectural creativity, innovation, design, and sustainability, noting the Kingdom's growing competitiveness and influence in these areas. He further pointed out that Bahrain is proud of its rich national heritage, which embodies its identity and is showcased through international participation, fostering cultural exchanges.
His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa voiced his pride in Bahrain's achievements and the international recognition gained under the leadership of His Majesty the King, which continues to enhance Bahrain's global stature. He also conveyed his gratitude to His Royal Highness for his ongoing support of the culture and antiquities sector.
The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and several senior officials.
