HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Engages with Private Sector Sponsors of Celebrate Bahrain Events

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, convened with the sponsors of the Celebrate Bahrain events from the private sector at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness underscored the necessity of strengthening collaboration between public and private sectors to fulfill the Kingdom’s comprehensive development aspirations under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.



According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the substantial contributions of the private sector to the Kingdom’s development, emphasizing its pivotal role in the prosperity of various sectors, notably tourism. He expressed gratitude to the sponsors for their support of Bahrain’s national holiday celebrations and their vital role in enhancing the Kingdom’s tourism sector, which remains a top priority.



His Royal Highness pointed out that Bahrain is committed to advancing its tourism sector by bolstering the private sector’s role as a crucial partner in its growth. The government is dedicated to implementing initiatives and projects that highlight Bahrain’s cultural and historical heritage, thereby solidifying the Kingdom’s standing on the regional and international tourism stage.



HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad reiterated the Kingdom’s dedication to building a promising future for its citizens under His Majesty the King’s leadership. He stressed that the determination of the Bahraini people, along with coordinated efforts within Team Bahrain, incentivizes ongoing national development.



His Royal Highness noted that the existing partnership with the private sector has effectively transformed challenges into significant opportunities, aiding in the Kingdom’s achievement of its strategic objectives. The sponsors expressed their appreciation for His Royal Highness’s commitment to strengthening public-private partnerships for the benefit of Bahrain and its people across various domains.



The platinum sponsors included the National Bank of Bahrain, GFH Financial Group, and the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait. The gold sponsors were Marassi Al Bahrain, STC, and Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), while the silver sponsors comprised the National Bank of Kuwait, Beyon, Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), Infracorp, and Al Salam Bank, with additional support from Cebarco Bahrain and Urbaser.



The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and other senior officials.
