Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today attended the closing ceremony of the Royal Bahrain Concours, held at the Royal Golf Club. His Royal Highness emphasized that Bahrain's continuous success in organizing and hosting major global events showcases the strength of the Kingdom's tourism sector, its advanced infrastructure, and the highly skilled national workforce who consistently deliver with professionalism.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed Bahrain's commitment to advancing initiatives that attract world-class international events, reinforcing its position as a leading tourism destination. This aligns with the comprehensive development goals led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The success of the inaugural Royal Bahrain Concours underscores Bahrain's competitiveness and capability in hosting such prestigious events, further enhancing its reputation as a destination for automotive enthusiasts.
His Royal Highness attributed the Kingdom's achievements across all sectors to the dedicated national workforce, whose determination and passion reflect the professionalism that defines Team Bahrain. He noted the progress of Bahrain's tourism sector, driven by programs aimed at boosting its contribution to the national economy and achieving sustainable development goals.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed appreciation to all involved in organizing the event, congratulating the winners and wishing them continued success. During the ceremony, His Royal Highness presented the Crown Prince of Bahrain Award to HRH Prince Faisal A. Al Faisal from Saudi Arabia, owner of the 2008 Ferrari Zagato Nibbio. The Best of Show award was presented to Dr Khalid M Abdulrahim from Bahrain, owner of the 1972 Lamborghini Miura SV - Ex Shah of Iran.
Awards were also distributed to winners across various categories, as well as to sponsoring companies and the organizing committee. The event saw the attendance of several senior officials, highlighting its significance on the Kingdom's calendar.
