Cairo: On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today attended the inauguration ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was received by His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King to President El-Sisi. He congratulated the President and the people of Egypt on the museum's opening, underscoring the nation's rich civilisation and enduring human heritage.
