His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today a delegation from Egyptian Al Ahram Foundation, led by its Board Chairman and Dean of the Egyptian journalists Abdul Mohsin Salama. He reviewed with them distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries and the latest regional and international developments.
HRH the Prime Minister called for more pan Arab cooperation to protect the nation and its civilizational heritage. He stressed the need to dedicate all available resources and rally ranks to achieve the Arab nation’s security and stability in a world of political and economic blocs. He underlined the significance of having an active and influential role for the Arab countries, pointing out the importance of the visit in bolstering outstanding fraternal relations between Bahrain and Egypt.
HRH the Premier commended the historical role of Egypt and its honourable stances in staving off dangers targeting the Arab nation, stressing respect of the sacrifices to maintain its unity. He lauded the efforts of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to bolster pan Arab work, praising Egypt’s achievements under his leadership. He also underlined Bahrain’s keenness to promote cooperation with Egypt for the best interest of both countries and peoples.
HRH the Prime Minister underscored continuous coordination between both countries, pointing out the visits made by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Egyptian President to Egypt and Bahrain. He said the present global policies and trends have left a negative impact in many Arab communities. However, he added, “I am hopeful about the future of the Arab situation.” He emphasised the importance of assuming the responsibility of maintaining security and stability, stressing Bahrain’s cooperation in this respect.
HRH the Premier lauded the current visit of Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Egypt, pointing out the gracious welcome he received by the Egyptian President. He underlined the importance of the visit in promoting joint Arab action, expressing hope it will further develop pan Arab cooperation. He praised the experience and knowledge of the Egyptian people which contributed to the development of many Arab countries, urging to vail of those experiences for the best interest of the Arab nation.
HRH the Prime Minister hailed the role of the Egyptian press and Al Ahram Foundation in shaping the Arab conscience, wishing them more success.
The delegation expressed thanks and respect to HRH the Premier for his unwavering keenness on bolstering bilateral fraternal relations, describing him as an Arab icon who enjoys respect of the Egyptian people and the whole Arab nation. They commended Bahrain’s unflinching support to Egypt, praising the kingdom’s growth and prosperity at all levels.
