HRH Crown Prince meets HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II

Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, HRH Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, and his accompanying delegation, at Al-Qudaibiya palace.

Upon arrival, an official reception ceremony took place, where the national anthems of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan were played. During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the long-standing ties between Bahrain and Jordan, which continue to receive the support of both His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein to advance across all levels.

HRH the Crown Prince noted Jordan’s supportive positions towards the Kingdom of Bahrain and the wider Arab world, underlining its pivotal role in supporting various issues of mutual interest.

HRH the Crown Prince and HRH Prince Al Hussein went on to review wide-ranging ties, which have facilitated strong collaboration across a range of sectors. HRH the Crown Prince welcomed HRH Prince Al Hussein’s first official visit to the Kingdom, adding that the regular exchange of visits reflects both countries’ shared commitment to increasing cooperation and reinforcing bilateral collaboration.

HRH Prince Al Hussein conveyed the greetings of HM King Abdullah II to HRH Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad, and expressed HM King Abdullah’s well wishes to the Kingdom and its citizens.

HRH Prince Al Hussein expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome received, and noted HRH the Crown Prince’s support and commitment to advancing bilateral ties. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince then held a luncheon in honour of HRH Prince Al Hussein and his accompanying delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. A number of senior officials attended the meeting.
