Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with John Pearson, Chief Executive Officer of DHL Express, at Gudaibia Palace. The meeting focused on the strategic importance of Bahrain's logistics sector and its ongoing development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness emphasized the critical role of enhancing the Kingdom's logistics competitiveness through continued infrastructure improvements. This effort is part of the broader comprehensive development plan led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Crown Prince highlighted the successful partnership between the Kingdom and DHL Express and acknowledged the company's contributions to advancing Bahrain's logistics capabilities.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reiterated Bahrain's commitment to strengthening ties with leading global logistics companies. This initiative is seen as a vital step in positioning Bahrain as a prominent and attractive global logistics hub.
John Pearson, CEO of DHL Express, expressed his gratitude for the efforts of His Royal Highness in enhancing the cooperation between Bahrain and DHL. He appreciated the partnership's role in delivering quality logistics services to the region.
The meeting was also attended by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and HE Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DHL Express Bahrain.
