Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a congratulatory cable from Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Health (SCH). The message was sent in recognition of McLaren's recent victories, securing both the Constructors' Championship and the World Drivers' Championship in Formula 1.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this achievement marks McLaren's first double championship in 27 years. The Crown Prince and Prime Minister were specifically lauded for McLaren driver Lando Norris' success in winning the Formula 1 World Drivers' Championship, adding to the team's historic season.
