Housing Ministry and Bahrain Polytechnic Collaborate on Training Initiatives

Manama:The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning is focusing on enhancing national talent through new training programs and knowledge exchange initiatives in partnership with Bahrain Polytechnic. This collaboration aims to boost the capabilities within the housing and urban planning sector by integrating government and academic expertise.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, stressed the importance of this synergy in keeping pace with sector changes and utilizing innovation to foster sustainable urban development. The partnership was highlighted during the second edition of the Innovation Summit in the Social Housing Sector, conducted from September 29 to October 3.

The initiative seeks to link academic knowledge with practical workplace needs, thereby expanding professional development opportunities for national talent. This approach is anticipated to enhance readiness in addressing housing and urban planning challenges while supporting institutional performance.

Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Boards of Trustees of Bahrain Polytechnic, reinforced the value of such government-academic collaborations. He pointed out that this alignment prepares national talent to meet development sector demands and effectively contribute to the nations growth.
