Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified and issued Law (32) of 2026, which approves the agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This agreement aims to avoid double taxation on income and prevent tax evasion and avoidance, following its approval by the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Prime Minister and ministers are tasked with implementing the provisions of this law. The law is set to come into effect the day after its publication in the Official Gazette. This legislative move marks a significant step in enhancing economic cooperation between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
