Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan received Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait. His Royal Highness Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince of Jordan, was present.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting addressed the strong relations between Jordan and Kuwait, and means to expand cooperation in various domains, in addition to the need to step up joint Arab action to sustain de-escalation in the region.
His Majesty underscored that any de-escalation agreement must guarantee the security of Arab states, stressing that the security of Gulf states is fundamental to regional and global security and stability. HM the King reiterated the importance of continuing to support Lebanon's efforts to maintain its security, stability, and sovereignty.
