Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree (36) of 2026 appointing assistant undersecretaries at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture. This decision follows a proposal from the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and has received approval from the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree outlines several key appointments. Sadiq Jaafar Al Sitri, who previously served as Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information, will now assume the role of Assistant Undersecretary for Expropriation and Municipal Councils Affairs. Sabah Abdulkhaleq Isa Al Sabah, the former Assistant Undersecretary for Joint Municipal Services, has been appointed as Assistant Undersecretary for Projects. Additionally, Ahmed Hassan Abdulla Humaidan, formerly the Director of the Central Internal Audit Directorate at the Prime Minister's Office, will take on the position of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Facilities.
The Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture is tasked with implementing this decree, which is effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
