Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), paid a visit to the BDF General Command today. Upon arrival, His Majesty was welcomed by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF. Accompanying His Majesty were Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, along with Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff, and several senior officers.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the visit, His Majesty was briefed on the BDF's future development plans encompassing all branches and units. His Majesty expressed appreciation for the dedication and commitment of BDF personnel in fulfilling their national duties to ensure the Kingdom's security and prosperity.
His Majesty also acknowledged the achievements of the BDF's military manufacturing sector, highlighting its progress in enhancing national capabilities through skilled personnel and modern technologies. He noted that these efforts demonstrate the professionalism and high competence of the BDF's members.
Furthermore, His Majesty instructed senior officers to convey his greetings and appreciation to all BDF personnel serving both in the Kingdom and abroad.
