Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Upon arrival, His Majesty was received by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, along with Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff, and other senior officers.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during a meeting with senior officers, His Majesty expressed his appreciation to the Commander-in-Chief for his efforts in advancing and developing the BDF. He also extended his gratitude to all members of the BDF, the National Guard, and the Ministry of Interior for their contributions during the Kingdom's national celebrations, including the 26th Anniversary of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne and the Commemoration Day.
His Majesty praised the continuous dedication of the BDF in preserving national unity and defending the Kingdom's achievements and gains. He commended the brave members of the BDF for their sincere service both within the Kingdom and abroad, acknowledging their efforts to protect the nation, support its civilisational journey, and safeguard its national unity.
His Majesty highlighted the BDF's cooperation with other countries in promoting security and peace across the region and wished all continued success and guidance.
