HM King Hamad Amends Executive Authority Structure of SCE

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree (74) of 2025, modifying certain elements of Decree (78) of 2021 concerning the reorganization of the Executive Authority of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE). This decision was made following a proposal by the Prime Minister and subsequent approval by the Cabinet.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree mandates the replacement of the text in items (2) and (3) of Article (I) of Decree (78) of 2021. The revised sections now designate the establishment of the Mohammed bin Zayed Natural Reserve Directorate and the Natural Reserves Affairs Directorate as part of the restructuring process.

The President of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) has been tasked with implementing this decree, which is effective immediately from the date of issuance. The decree will be officially published in the Official Gazette.
