HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the presence of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today at Al-Safriya Palace, received Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla and Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh.

HM the King praised the ongoing cooperation between the executive and legislative branches, which has contributed to promoting the national march of development. He also expressed appreciation of the Shura and Representatives’ efforts to adopt and bring legislation that has reinforced Bahrain’s standing in service, investment fields, which have created quality opportunities for citizens and played crucial role in establishing the principles of a civil state based on justice, equality, protection of rights and freedoms, respect for the law and the dissemination of values of moderation and tolerance.

HM the King pointed out that citizens are the focus of the development process and that their effort to promote the national comprehensive development is a source of pride to all. He stressed to continue providing high standard government services to citizens and preserving their rights and gains.

Shura and Representatives’ heads welcomed the royal support for the two councils, and wished HM the King good health and happiness to continue the march of development and prosperity.
