Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, has extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on being awarded the “Abu Bakr Al Siddique Necklace– First Class” by the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organisation (ARCO), in recognition of his efforts to support humanitarian work at the regional and international levels.
The minister affirmed that the top honour embodies HM the King’s interest in promoting humanitarian work at all levels, noting that the royal approach of providing assistance to humans wherever they are is based on the precepts of the Islamic religion, including the support for goodness, solidarity and noble humanitarian values.
Al-Romaihi asserted that the Royal Humanitarian Foundation is one of the manifestations of HM the King’s advocacy of the values of humanitarian work in word and deed, as reflected in its influential initiatives in the kingdom and across various countries.
