Manama: Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahrami, Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council, participated in a remote panel discussion on quality assurance in higher education, organised by the Center for Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS). The session brought together higher education and quality assurance officials from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Egypt.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Jahrami highlighted Bahrain's efforts to enhance higher education quality through regulatory measures, strategic initiatives, and partnerships with the Education and Training Quality Authority. She affirmed the need for dynamic, industry-driven quality assurance aligned with global standards, urging institutions to embrace innovation, collaborate with industry, and leverage artificial intelligence and digital tools to strengthen competitiveness, sustainability, and graduate readiness.
