Under the patronage of HM the King’s representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Honorary President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, BREEF held the veterinary examination of the “HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Endurance Cup”.

The event, sponsored by Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), the Bahrain Jewellery Centre and TechnoGym, in addition to the sponsors of the current season, will kick off on Saturday at the Bahrain International Endurance Village.

On this occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser welcomed all the stables and jockeys participating in the international, local and qualifying races, noting that the competition will be fierce and exciting, given the distinguished level and preparations of the participants vying for the trophies.

He commended companies and enterprises that sponsor the championship, hailing their role in supporting the sectors of sports and youth, particularly endurance events.

Earlier, HH Shaikh Nasser ordered the allocation of three cars for the first three positions in the private stables race that will be held on Saturday, in addition to the allocation of cash prizes valued at BD 32400 for the winning jockeys placed between 4 and 20.

The HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Endurance Cup will witness a 120-km international race and a 100-km local race, in addition to local qualifying races for 40 and 80 kms.
