HH Shaikh Nasser, Shaikh Khalid, and Shaikh Isa Attend 11th Alba Cups Race in Sakhir

Sakhir: The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) hosted the 11th race of the 2025-2026 season at its Al Raffa racecourse over the Cups of Aluminium Bahrain (Alba). The event saw the presence of prominent figures including His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Also present was His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, among other dignitaries and representatives of Alba, the official sponsor of the race. According to Bahrain News Agency, the event featured eight rounds and attracted a significant public audience, wrapping up the racing activities of 2025 amidst a competitive environment complemented by entertainment activities. The winners of the Alba Cups were announced, with Khalid Amr Al Rumaihi, Chairman of Alba, and Ali Al Baqali, CEO of Alba, presenting the trophies to the victors across the rounds. The first-round trophy was awarded to jockey Ebrahim Nader, the second to owner Khalid Al Hermes, the third to HH Shaikh Nader bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the fourth to Mahdi Salah Mahdi. The fifth-round trophy went to owner Ebrahim Al Afoo. Ali Al Baqali presented the sixth-round trophy to owner Sayed Jawad Sayed Marzooq, the seventh to jockey Hasan Mefrih Al Ajmi, and the eighth to owner Zaid Al Jasmi. The race was marked by strong competition, with several stables securing victories across the Alba Cups, showcasing the high level of performance among the participating horses and jockeys.
