HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Receives Organisers of 3rd Asian Youth Games

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, received His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), along with members of the Supreme Organising Committee and Executive Committee of the 3rd Asian Youth Games, recently hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad stated that the efforts of the committees and volunteers demonstrate the sense of belonging and generosity of the Bahraini people, highlighting Bahrain's capability to host major sporting events that meet international standards.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad further mentioned that the unwavering support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, is pivotal to national achievements, especially in youth and sports, which are progressing under the leadership's guidance.

He also noted that Bahrain's successful hosting of the 3rd Asian Youth Games is an example of national institutional work led by integrated efforts and effective leadership. His Highness praised HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad for his dedication, whose supervision and active involvement were crucial to the event's success.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad stressed that the performances of Bahraini athletes, which resulted in winning numerous medals, and the cooperation among all parties involved, bolster Bahrain's status as a hub for major sporting events regionally and internationally.

In response, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad and committee members expressed gratitude to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad for his guidance and support, which significantly contributed to the success of the games. They affirmed their commitment to continue enhancing Bahrain's international sporting achievements.
