Manama: Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, attended the closing ceremony of the 'Gadeha Junior' training camp, held at Exhibition World Bahrain. The event was also graced by the presence of Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard's Special Operations, along with distinguished guests and invitees.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasized that the 'Gadeha Junior' camp is a national initiative aimed at investing in the youth, enhancing their character, skills, and preparing them to tackle future challenges. He stressed the importance of empowering young individuals as they are crucial to the Kingdom's advancement and future development.
His Highness expressed pride in the achievements of the participants, highlighting their dedication, commitment, and high spirits, which reflect the intrinsic values of Bahraini youth. He emphasized that military life, with its discipline and responsibility, is instrumental in shaping the participants' character and inculcating values of leadership, teamwork, and self-confidence.
His Highness also reiterated that the exemplary participants confirm that investing in the younger generation is a true investment in Bahrain's future. He encouraged the participants to apply their learnings in everyday life, serving as role models in their communities, with a focus on serving and advancing the nation.
The opening of the ceremony featured the Royal Anthem and a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an. Ahmed Al Shaikh, Chairman of the Organising Committee and Director of the Media Office of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, delivered a speech on the occasion. A special film was showcased, providing insights into the camp, highlighting the participants' journey and experiences, enhancing their capabilities and team spirit.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa honored 20 outstanding participants for their exemplary performance and discipline in behavioral, disciplinary, intellectual, physical, and leadership excellence. The winners of the Gadeha Cup for Excellence included Aline Qamar Salim, Khalifa Ibrahim Al Ghadeer, Fawzia Abdullah Al Amiri, and Ammar Yasser Mirza.
The ceremony concluded with a group photograph of the outstanding participants, and Ahmed Al Shaikh presented a commemorative gift to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
