Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, emphasized the significance of Arab Youth Day. Celebrated annually on July 5, the day highlights the potential and achievements of Arab youth and their contribution to shaping the future.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad acknowledged the support extended to the youth in Bahrain by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the ongoing attention of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty's Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, in advancing the youth sector.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad stated that Arab youth are the true wealth of the Arab nation and a key driver of its development. He stressed the importance of investing in their capabilities and providing an environment that allows them to realize their potential.
He expressed pride in the accomplishments of Bahraini and Arab youth in regional and international sporting events. HH Shaikh Khalid highlighted the role of Arab sports competitions in strengthening ties among young people and promoting cooperation and fair competition across the Arab world.
