Manama: Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, received Lieutenant General Sir Charlie Collins, Deputy Chief of Defence Staff for Military Strategy and Operations of the United Kingdom.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was attended by Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor, and Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau. His Highness welcomed the UK official, emphasizing the historical and strategic ties between Bahrain and the United Kingdom. He noted the ongoing cooperation between the two nations, particularly in military and defence sectors.
His Highness highlighted the significance of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) in fortifying the strategic partnership. The discussions focused on mutual interests and enhancing coordination to address various challenges. Both parties exchanged views on regional and international developments to support security and stability.
